Chance The Rapper To Donate 30,000 Backpacks to CPS
Chicago's hometown hero is doing more good for the city. Chance The Rapper recently partnered with State Bags to make sure that 30,000 stuffed backpacks get to CPS students in need. Social Works Chi and State Bags are helping students prepare for the school year with supplies. According to sources, Chance and State Bags co-founders Scot and Jacq Tatelman will be passing out thousands of backpacks at the annual Bud Billiken Parade on Saturday, August 12th. The new school year is approaching quickly and to make sure everyone get to school on the first day the CTA will be offering free rides to all students.
