Nas' fast food restaurant is coming to his coming to his hometown of Queens, New York in 2018. The hip-hop legend has partnered with co-owner John Seymour opening another Sweet Chick, a restaurant specializing in chicken and waffles. The two already have locations in Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Los Angeles. It's only right that the chain expands to the hometown of Nas. According to Nas, this expansion to Queens will be special because a portion of the restaurant will be dedicated to his father.

“Since partnering with Sweet Chick I’ve always wanted to take it back to my roots, and now it’s finally happening with the Long Island City store. That’s where I️ grew up. We are also paying respect to my father, who’s a now retired jazz artist, with a private dining room inspired by jazz clubs where Chicken and Waffles were born," Nas told Billboard.

The new Sweet Chick is expected to open in Queens, New York in February 2018.
